What made this possible is the "TWS", which has extremely high line release properties, and the "PE-specific spool", which has greatly improved the thread winding condition and has settings specifically designed for PE. Furthermore, the basic performance has been refined with ``HYPERDRIVE DESIGN'', making it compatible with a wide range of salt situations. Sizes are available in BF/80/100/150/300/400, making it possible to handle a wider range of fish species in the salt area. A new standard in SW baitcasting reels for users who want to enjoy PE baitcasting and users who want the ability to handle PE. *Compatible with salt! PE exclusive spool! Line trouble with baitcasting reels comes with the risk of high breakage. One of the causes of this problem is the condition of the thread. With a normal spool shape, there is a step at both ends of the spool, making line release unstable. The SALTIST series PE spool uses a new shape spool designed for use with PE. By making the curved parts of the bottom and sides of the spool nearly vertical, the thread winding condition has been greatly improved. We have achieved a trouble-free spool that has never existed before. *PE-specific spool: Because the setting is made with PE line, it is not possible to use nylon or fluoroline, which will stretch the thread and damage the spool strength. *The vertical shape of the bottom and sides of the spool is not adopted in the 400 size because it is intended for use with thick thread and higher loads. (The 400 size is also a PE spool.) ■High speed level wind! The trouble when the line is loosely wound becomes more noticeable when using PE line. High speed level wind dramatically reduces such troubles.
