This is a long-selling product that won the 1996 Good Design Award and the 2021 Long Life Design Award. This is an artisan-made pottery made from walnut wood that comes from a natural Japanese forest and is dried for about 6 months, then carefully carved one by one by a craftsman in Odawara. The blades used for sharpening are handcrafted by craftsmen, and all products are made with the heart of the creator, without compromise. We use the same safe urethane paint as the Odawara school lunch bowls. You can enjoy the difference in texture due to the different grain of each piece of wood. A generous bowl that complements your dishes and goes well with Western dishes. Because of its slightly larger size, it can be used for a variety of purposes, including miso soup, pork soup, and stew.
